About GirlHype

Providing fun, hands-on opportunities for girls and women to get engaged with technology.

We present girls and youth with an opportunity to participate, to develop technical competencies and social skills needed for full involvement in the new 21st century job market and tertiary level.

Our goal is to address unequal access to the opportunities, experiences, skills, and knowledge that will prepare youth for full participation in the world of the 21st century. Many of our students will be entering the workforce upon completing high school. Girlhype feels that the gap between schoolwork and the world of work must be bridged more effectively than it has been in the past. Our youth must be better prepared for employment.
